Welcome! (Please Read Me)

Welcome to Buzz@WQPT! On behalf of everyone at WQPT, I’d like to welcome you to our new blog for kids.
Be sure to read the following—It’s important!
Simple ground rules:
- Have fun. This blog is designed to be fun and interesting.
- Be nice. We don’t mind if you have an opinion, but please be nice to others.
- Don’t be mean—use nice words. Absolutely no “bad” words.
- Follow along. Comment on the subject of the blog post. If you want, start your own post—it’s easy.
- Talk about your thoughts. Comments should be about what you think is cool or weird. Don’t talk about what someone else wrote on the blog. We want to know what you think!
- Get Involved. You may start your own topic or thread – once you register on the blog.
- No advertising. If we think your post is an ad for something, we’ll remove it.
- No personal information. Don’t use your last name, your street address, your phone number or any other personal information.
- Never meet anyone in person that you or your parents don’t know.
- Want to share a link or another website? That’s cool, but it has to be okay for other kids to read.
10 simple rules… pretty typical, eh? We thought so. Have fun.
Grown ups may want to read: This blog is primarily for kids (and other people who care about kids) to talk about kids stuff happening here in our communities and region. Tell us what you think about your favorite programs, talk about school stuff or events happening in our area that are fun for everyone.
We monitor the content very closely to make sure that we are providing a safe and fun online place for kids.
Want to comment on our programming or other WQPT stuff? If you have any comments or questions for WQPT, feel free to contact me via e-mail. You may also call the WQPT offices at 309/796-2424 or toll-free at 1-800/747-2430. WQPT cannot be responsible for content on other websites.
